If the charger of your Dell laptop is not charging the battery of your device, then it might be an issue with your laptop that your device is not recognizing the charger.   • First of all, you have to download the update and save it to your desktop to easily retrieve it.
  • Then open the Start menu located on the bottom of your main desktop screen and then select All Programs, then Accessories and navigate for Command prompt. After finding it, right-click on it and click on Run as Administrator option. 
  • Then on the command prompt, type ‘C:\Users\Users name’> cd desktop’. There should a gap between cd Desktop. Then press enter key and you will be directed to ‘C:\Users\Users name’\desktop>’.
  • Then type in the last part of BIOS update file name i.e. ‘D620_A10.EXE’ after ‘C:\Users\Users name’\desktop>’ command. It will appear like this ‘C:\Users\Users name’\desktop> D620_A10.EXE’ in the command prompt.
  • After that type ‘forceit’ after the command which will look like this C:\Users\Users name’\desktop> D620_A10.EXE /forceit’. There should be a gap between exe and forceit.
  • After that, press enter key to complete the process.
Now your BIOS has been updated and you can charge the battery of your device.
